Caleruega

Where do broken hearts go?

Of course, closer to God. Aside from Baguio, one can go to a place full of tranquility. The peace of mind that you are looking for can be found at Caleruega (I assure you) I know it is very difficult to mend a broken heart but trust me, God's timing is perfect. Let Him surprise you. You may not know the reasons today. Just have faith and believe. Someday, you'll just smile or even laugh at the things that are happening to you right now.

 Restrooms are located inside.

At first, I thought it was part of Tagaytay City. Later did I know that it was part of Nasugbu, Batangas. It is just few kilometers away from Tagaytay.

Close to nature. Close to God.

Caleruega was named after the birthplace of St. Dominic de Guzman, father of the Order of the Preachers. Wishing to honor and remember the legacy of their founder, the Filipino Dominicans established Caleruega with the hopes that it will, like the town of Caleruega in Spain, be a birthplace - a genesis for people speaking to and for the Divine Creator.

Silence, solitude, harmony, the majesty of creation, the freedom of Light, and the passion to share God's Word - this is Caleruega: the seedbed of preachers, the cornerstone of the spiritual inspiration. Come, walk in His presence (as I tour you virtually).
